What is air cooled heat exchanger
How Does It Work ?
An air-cooled heat exchanger (ACHE) is a heavy-duty device that dissipates process heat from a fluid to ambient air, using fans to force air across a bundle of finned tubes.
The hot process fluid flows through the tubes, and the air, passing over the external fins, absorbs and carries the heat away.
ACHEs are common in industries like oil & gas, power plants, and petrochemical complexes, especially where water availability is limited.
There are two types of ACHE induced draft and forced draft.
Matrix Co. offers design and supply all types of ACHE towers with Galv.Steel - Stainless steel material.
Advantages of air cooled heat exchanger
• Very Low water consumption
• Reduced environmental empact
• Ideal for places have lake of water
• Reduced maintenance
