Project Overview

Matrix Company supplied and installed a plate and shell heat exchanger for a leading fertilizer producer in Egypt. The unit was selected for its ability to handle the plant's high-pressure, high-temperature process duty while resisting the corrosive nature of the process media — keeping the exchanger in continuous, reliable service.


Scope of Work

  • Thermal design and sizing based on process fluid data and plant operating conditions
  • Manufacturing and quality testing of the plate and shell unit
  • Transport, rigging, and on-site positioning at the fertilizer facility
  • Piping tie-in, flange alignment, and connection to existing process lines
  • Pressure testing, commissioning, and handover to the plant operations team
